Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy Services
CarePoint Counsellors apply a sliding scale of fees in order to make quality professional counselling services accessible to all persons in the community. These concessions are possible because of subsidies made available by The Point Church and their generous service to the community is gratefully acknowledged.
The minimum consultation fee is $20.00 per fifty-five minute session (available to Health Care Card holders or where the annual gross combined family income is less than $20,000.00 per year or $385.00 per week).
The maximum consultation fee is $80.00 per fifty-five minute session (where the annual gross combined family income exceeds $60,000.00 per year or $1,154.00 per week).
Fees are payable on the day of consultation (eftpos facility available).
Appointments outside normal business hours may be negotiated.
Appointments that are either missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 50% of the negotiated rate.
Referrals are not required, but appointments are essential (telephone CarePoint or email appointments@carepoint.org.au for further enquiries or to arrange an appointment).
All personal information provided to your counsellor is private and strictly confidential except in the case of a court order (subpoena) or a life-threatening situation (suspected suicidal or homicidal intent). Presently occurring sexual or other abuse of children will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
